We anticipate opening to the public on September 3.
The Riverview 14 GDX theatre will be re-branded to be part of the AMC family of theatres. The first change you will notice are the new, branded signs on the interior of the building.
AMC Theatres is dedicated to innovating the way you see movies. Come enjoy the very best of cutting-edge moviegoing. Taste our special menu of elevated cinema favorites and enjoy bolder flavors, wider variety, and superior quality movie snacks. And, reserve your tickets in advance when you purchase online!
Food and drinks are made easy with mobile ordering. Order online and it will be ready when you arrive for your showtime.
This theatre is supported by the same website, AMCTheatres.com, the same AMC Theatres app and our AMC Theatres social media channels. More changes are outlined in response to the frequently asked questions below.

- AMC Stubs Insider is FREE to join. Members receive tons of benefits including Discount Tuesdays and a $5 reward to spend on concessions every time 5,000 points are earned (earn 20 points per $1 spent).
- AMC Stubs Premiere is an annual membership for just $15+tax, in which members earn even more benefits. Earn points 5x faster toward $5 rewards that can be spent on tickets and concessions. Membership also includes FREE upgrades to larger sizes on popcorn and fountain drinks, and Premiere priority service at the box office and concessions at participating theatres.
- AMC Stubs A-List allows members to make free online reservations and see up to 3 movies every week for just one low price per month.
GQT has unfortunately closed their business in Florida and is no longer involved with the Riverview 14 GDX theater. For this reason, Riverview 14 GDX will not be able to honor existing points and rewards. AMC does have many amazing offers right now to support the reopening of your favorite theatre including $5 food and drink offers and $5 loyalty enrollment deals.
GQT discount tickets, including Complementary Tickets and VIP cards, will be redeemable at the theatre. GQT gift cards with balances can be transferred to an AMC gift card by taking the GQT gift card to Guest Services at the Riverview 14 GDX theatre. Both discount tickets and GQT gift cards must be exchanged in the theatre by 12/3/2020.
The Features concept will be changing. The Features Gastropub restaurant, including their menu and tableside waiter service, will no longer be available. The Features bar will remain open and continue to offer a wide variety of alcohol for patrons to enjoy at the bar before or after the show, and in the auditorium while watching the movie.
Yes, we’ll offer innovative menu items from our Feature Fare menu. The menu will be simplified to start with as we get everything up and running. However, you can be sure that we’ll be popping our legendary AMC Perfectly Popcorn™ from day one.
Yes, we plan to continue to serve your favorite adult beverages at the Features Bar.
AMC recognizes that a key ingredient of Riverview 14 GDX’s success has been the professional and courteous staff. AMC has hired many of the former GQT staff from this location, including the General Manager, so you are sure to see many familiar faces in their new AMC uniforms.
Our top priority is the health and safety of our guests and crew, so we implemented new AMC Safe & Clean ™ policies and procedures, designed with you in mind. On your next theatre visit, you’ll notice that we’ve taken steps to reduce touch points and protect your safety, including simplified menus for shorter lines at concessions and reduced auditorium capacities for social distancing. Now that your theatre is officially in the AMC family – you can take full advantage of our state-of-the-art website (AMCTheatres.com) and mobile app to find showtimes, buy tickets, learn more about your favorite movies or sign up for our AMC Stubs rewards program. You will still be able to buy tickets through Fandango.com and Atom Tickets. Of course, you can still buy tickets at the theatre.
Yes, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they will increase. For example, we are offering $6.50+tax tickets on Discount Tuesdays for AMC Stubs members. AMC Stubs Insider is free to join and includes perks like points earned toward $5 rewards on every purchase. Also, our biggest movie fans can sign up for AMC Stubs A-List, which will allow them to watch up to 3 movies a week for one low monthly fee.
Ticket and concession prices will be adjusted to fit within AMC standards while considering theatre amenities and the competitive landscape. As is normal for our industry, AMC periodically evaluates pricing and may make pricing changes based on market conditions, increasing operating costs or when premium formats are introduced.
AMC Riverview 14 GDX is already equipped with plush recliners, a full bar, digital projectors and other terrific amenities. We’ll be sure to let you know if the theatre is scheduled for additional renovations if and when the time comes.
Yes, your theatre name will change to AMC Riverview 14 GDX. Be sure to look for the new name on Fandango.com and Atom Tickets. You also can buy tickets directly at AMCTheatres.com.

No, it is not hard to get a job at AMC Theaters.
It's an excellent job for those just joining the workforce and who do not have much, if any, prior experience. AMC Theaters is open to hiring anyone over the age of 16 years old who has good people skills and a passion for the movies.
Guests under 17 must be accompanied by a guardian who is 21 or older. Please be prepared to show ID at the theatre.

Getting In
You do not need formal qualifications, but you should be able to handle cash and give change. You will probably need IT skills to book tickets and to record sales. It helps to have customer service experience. In most cinemas you have to be over 18 as you will be present while over-18 films are showing.
For purposes of the A-List Membership, a "week" means Friday 6:00 a.m. to the next Friday at 5:59 a.m., with times based on the time zone of the theatre that you have designated as your favorite theatre. You may select up to three (3) showtime admissions on the same day during a week, provided showtimes do not overlap.
