Since the oil pump seems to have decent capacity and the rod bearings have a sufficient surface area, we believe a lot of this has to do with the failings of the stock oil system.

The power transistor is the most troublesome part of the OEM ignition. The Polar Engineering kit comes with a jumper harness for eliminating the stock power transistor and six pigtail harnesses so you can modify your harness to use the R35 coils. The kit comes with all of the bolts and spacers needed to adapt it to the VG30's valve cover.

Engine its self is bullet proof..The problems come with the old s***ty breaking apart and corroded connectors. Early engines had issues with fuel injectors also. 90-93 I believe is early style injectors.

The DETT with all it's cooling and plumbing is very wide, so the engine bay, hood, front brace, and suspension were customized to get it in..
