The torque tuned would not physically go into the motor bay. That is odd.. but I can sort of visualize what you are saying because the SS has a cup-like housing where the motor fits into. I measured the diameters per below just now.. 540 standard silver can. 35.6mm. Torque Tuned 35.74mm.
