I've wanted to go the Roost Cafe at Hawks Landing Golf Course in Yucca Valley, CA, since it has received several consistent good reviews. The restaurant opens for dinner at 4pm, until 9pm. Friday dinner features Prime Rib, so I decided to go with a friend. Since I prefer earlier dinners, we showed up at 4 for some cocktails beforehand.
