Candy is the reason that Candy Cane Rescue was founded. This sweet girl had survived a meat truck, recovered from multiple injuries, including two broken legs, and was in a Chinese kennels waiting to come to the UK to start her new life. The day before she was due to fly she was killed by a larger dog.
