At the bottom of the falls there is a big natural pool where you can swim and splash around. There are several other smaller pools here as well. The water is refreshing, especially on a hot day.

There are three waterfalls during this tour of the El Nicho parkland. The first and the last are the most memorable. I recommend shoes which are comfortable and aren't likely to slip on wet surfaces. You amble for about 10 minutes through tropical flora brimming with flowers, plants, lizards, birds etc.
