Water is free (geyser) and pump is already pumping to scrubbers so the water to the plants is free (unlike a regulator for cooling). 2 kg/s of water can be turned into 3 kW of power. If you chose to use that water for irrigation instead, you have given up on 3 kW of power.

A bristle blossom needs 20kg once per day. A liquid pump moves 10kg water though a pipe every second. To summarize: Each bristle blossom only needs to be connected to a water pump for 2 seconds each day. Could you take a screenshot of the piping overlay? there must be a blocking somewhere.

With fertilizer, I usually only need one row of plants (one greenhouse worth) to feed the entire colony bristle, but I only have 9 dupes in my colonies.

A downside is that it needs to be watered manually by dupes, so usability of such setup is at least questionable ;-) True, but i supposed if you build a manual pump setup right next to the farms it might not be so bad. The temperature sensor is also weird, if you allowed the turbine to run at 125C you wouldn't need the worts. cook447 โข 5 yr. ago
