Circustheater in de avond. Het oorspronkelijke theater werd op 16 juli 1904 geopend door Circus Schumann. Het gebouw was een ontwerp van de architect W.B. van Liefland. Het Circustheater, toen Circusgebouw, was tot in de jaren 1960 een echt circus, dat alleen in de zomermaanden geopend was. Later kreeg het gebouw de naam Circus Strassburger.

For my mother in law's birthday we decided to visit The Lion King musical in AFAS Circustheater in Scheveningen. It was a great experience. The theater is amazing and the show was worth every single Euro. The actors were great, the orchestra superb and the costumes were amazing. Worth visiting if you're in the area.

Informatie over theater. Het AFAS Circustheater in Scheveningen werd op 16 juli 1904 geopend door Circus Schumann en diende tot in de jaren zestig als een echt circus. Het theater (later gedoopt tot Circus Strassburger) was toen alleen geopend in de zomermaanden. Dieren werden per trein en via het tramspoor aangevoerd.

The parking is quite expensive around the theatre (and everywhere in the Netherlands). There are good restaurants nearby. You have to pay for the gardrobe, which is annoying after we paid almost 200 euros for 2 tickets. The seats are comfortable. We sat in row 1 (seat 10-12) they are good seat.
