The Kattenstoet (lit. 'Festival of the Cats') is a parade in Ypres, Belgium, devoted to the cat. It has been running regularly since 1955 and is usually held triennially on the second Sunday of May. [1] Most recently, the 45th edition took place on 13 May 2018, [2] with the next scheduled for 12 May 2024. [3]

Located a short stroll from Amsterdam Centraal Station is De Poezenboot, translation: "The Catboat"! This is a shelter for cats situated on a converted house-boat on canal Singel 38-G.
