De Willem Barendsz (I) was het eerste Nederlandse walvisfabrieksschip dat tussen 1946 en 1955 werd gebruikt als moeder- en fabrieksschip voor negen walvisvaartexpedities in de wateren rond Antarctica voor de Nederlandsche Maatschappij voor de Walvischvaart (NMW).
