Dale Chihuly is one of the greatest American glass artists. His Lime Green Icicle Tower ( 2011) measures more that 40 feet high, weighs approximately 10,000 pounds and is made up of 2,342 individual glass pieces mounted on a steel armature. A similar sculpture can be found at the Chihuly Garden and Glass museum in Seattle, Washington.
