Trader Joe's Lamb Vindaloo. As you can see, it's another frozen Indian entree that Trader Joe's has concocted for us. That means one thing if you want to eat it for lunch: a microwave. Hmm, microwavable lamb. As one of our fans aptly said, that's kinda a scary notion, so it was with a little bit of trepidation that I bought this for myself.

Review Trader Joe’s Lamb Vindaloo

Trader Joe's Lamb Vindaloo takes the spiciness up a notch with its vinegary, tingly pepper sauce coating toothsome chunks of meat. This time the side of Basmati rice is flecked with fresh curry and cilantro leaves to balance the flavor of the lamb. Although hotter than some of TJ's other curry dishes, Lamb Vindaloo won't blow your top off.

Moderately spicy (was hoping for a bit more spice like the Fiery Chicken Curry) with a great curry flavor. The lamb is tender and tastes like a refined pot roast. Basmati rice is cooked well and pairs perfectly with the excess curry; I prefer it over the turmeric rice in other TJ's dishes. 9/10 due to desire for a bit more spice and the average.
