There's a diagram in your owners manual in the section about towing. To get 12V power to the plug you will have to put a fuse in the underhood fuse box. There should be a filler fuse in it now IIRC it's maked 30 amp aux [it's one of the square ones] pop it out and put a real fuse in and you should have power. Hope this helps.
