Welcome to all, whether first time, multiple year participants and especially to the lurkers and those that watch but aren't doing the project.

It has taken me 6 1/2 hours of constant sewing (only break was to eat lunch) but I have these --- My sweetie isn't off work yet and I did devote the whole day to this so . . . . moving on. A bit more cutting and I'm ready to add parts onto parts.
My Quilty World Grassy Creek Clue 6 Bonnie Hunter Mystery Quilt
Fold a 3 1/2'' strip of neutral fabric with right sides together. Square off one end of the strip set. Place the 3 1/2'' line on the ruler on the bottom of the strip set with the line ON the fabric. Trim up the angled side, and then, without moving the ruler, nip off the excess fabric beyond the angled tip of the ruler.

Place the 1/4'' line point-to-point on the corner of the red tri-recs triangles and trim all the way around the outside of the quilt top for nice straight edges. If you aren't sure, please revisit the graphic for half-blocks above. It shows where to place the 1/4'' line. Take a "Victory Lap" around the outside edge of the quilt top, stitching.

Generally Bonnie's quilts are bed size, at least full size. However, like the other anonymous poster said, it is part of the mystery. Some quilters make all the units 1/2 size if they want a wall hanging size quilt. With 12 yards of fabric needed for the quilt top, I think this quilt will be in the full to queen bed size.

QuiltingBoard Challenges & Contests - Bonnie Hunter 2023-24 Mystery -- Indigo Way - toverly, Bonnie specified in clue 1 that she was not using her special fabric for that clue, but just various of her navy fabrics. Regarding the special fabric, Bonnie shows her piece early on in the intro.

Cut one red and one dark blue square 4 1/4''. Each pair of squares will yield 2 hourglass units. Place one red and one dark blue square with right sides together and slice twice from corner to corner with an X to yield 4 matched pairs of quarter-square triangle ready to sew. You will need 18 red squares and 18 blue squares to complete the 36.

Bonnie teaches a method which uses two specialty rulers and strips of fabric, but she has introduced many quilters to Inklingo too. She has a big following among Inklingoists. As with Part Two, square off the end of the strip set and place ruler as shown. Make a cut, and remember to double back and trim that small angled tip at the top. That's your placement guide. Rotate the ruler to make the second cut. Then carefully trim that little angled corner as well. Cut 108 pairs of side triangles.

Clue 2 done. Mystery quilt, Bonnie hunter, Quilts
For Part One, we'll be starting easy. Part One is half-square triangles! Make 36 sets of 4 half-square triangle units that measure 3 1/2'' unfinished and will finish at 3'' in the quilt. One neutral and one dark blue per set - but fabrics can vary from set to set. (144 half-square triangle units total.) You can use any method for half.
