Directions Farmington Canyon is east of Lagoon Amusement Park. The winter gate of Farmington Canyon adds 0.8 miles each direction from the summer hike.

Starting at the lower parking lot follow the paved trail past Farmington Pond and down the hill past the waterfall. As you near the bottom of the hill you will see a gate. This prevents road traffic from entering Farmington Creek Trail. As you walk past the gate, the trail picks back up kitty-corner from the gate.
