If they have a platinum aspiration level, I don't change the aspiration. If they don't, I change to the highest aspiration in the calculator. If they're already at their ideal aspiration due to the calculator, the odds will change based on the color (yellow, green, red) as to whether they will decide to change to the next lowest aspiration.

Since publishing the Sims 2 secondary aspiration calculator, I've had a few requests for a list of the secondary aspirations for The Sims 2 premades (specifically Pleasanview).. I know a list like this could be helpful if you use my secondary aspiration system and you don't want to calculate for every single Sim manually. If I roll romance/pleasure, I will roll a number between 1 and 2 to decide which it is. This way, the result will be 1/5 chance for each of family, fortune, knowledge and popularity, and 1/10 chance for each of pleasure and romance. For secondary aspiration, I roll a number between 1 and 6.

Secondary aspirations are calculated when the sims turn 30, and I use Pleasantsims's secondary aspiration calculator. Aspirations can also sometimes change if they complete their junior year of college and they roll under 10/100 โ in which case, they change to the other aspiration for their zodiac.
